This book is both like and un-like other historical fiction I’ve read. It’s like others because of how much I enjoyed it. They just have a certain tone and mood surrounding them that I love. I’m able to take myself out of the present world, and fully immerse myself in a different time. This book has that all, but also so much more. It is so unique and shows a part of the war that is new and intriguing. Also, I’m pretty sure I’ve never read a Historical Fiction with so much suspense and a murder. I might be biased because I love animals, but I love the occupation of the MC. I’m very excited to continue.
