Don't get me wrong, I enjoy historical fiction. However, at this point I think I'm over saturated by them. I've read enough historical fiction for now -- from children being sent away during Operation Pied Piper, to children becoming orphans because of the war. Now, it's about the carrier pigeons.

Although I'm sure Olive Bright, Pigeoneer will be an interesting read, it is not one that I could fancy at the moment. Not slighting the author, as what I read from the excerpt seemed fascinating. In all fairness, I will rate it three stars. I liked it.
