This book managed to be both a fast and satisfying read. It also did not skimp on the steam. It was my first Harlequin Dare book so I honestly was not sure what to expect but I was not disappointed. There are so many forbidden work place romances out there but Off Limits was able to make that trope seem fresh with interesting and well developed characters. Jack's grief and Gemma's family dynamics added depth but were not over done. The connection between the two of them was palpable and made it so much easier to get fully invested in their story. I have to also mention that I really want Gemma's grandmother to adopt me or at least meet me for a champagne filled brunch. I will definitely be looking for more from this author.
