I wasn't sure what to expect with this one, but I was excited to read it. It's probably good I didn't go in with any expectations, because they would have been wrong. I've never read another book like this one, and while it's not something I'd read all the time, I enjoyed seeing this one unfold as I read it!
This story is a bit out of my regular, but it was fun to see what new surprises the characters held! I often grow bored with similar stories, but I did enjoy seeing the tension between the characters in this one, and it proved to be a quick read. The characters are real, and unique, and beautifully human, something I really enjoy in books. I liked that they each have painfully obvious issues that needed to be dealt with, but that is wasn't there to make them less, but instead that was one of the things that made them more likable and easier to relate too.
