I love a good office romance, especially the boss/assistant kind. I love even more when the boss is a billionaire, though I wasn't the biggest fan of Jack's playboy ways. Jack and Gemma have always held an attraction towards each other, but Gemma knows how Jack goes through countless women to numb the pain of his dead wife and won't allow herself to be another notch on his post.
Of course, one night they both give into temptation after a moment of weakness, and from there, it's hard to stop. Jack remains a bit aloof, and Gemma tries to guard her heart around him but she can't help but fall for her gorgeous boss. I was rooting for her to get a happily ever after she deserved, whether it was with Jack or not. I didn't particular care for Jack until maybe the very end of the book, but I loved Gemma. I would recommend this for those who love intense, office romance!
