This book delivered exactly what I had hoped for and a little more. This is the book for you if you want a hot steamy romance. No, many of the scenes were unrealistic, but do you read romance in the same way you read nonfiction??? This was a fantastic fantasy to read.
The emotional hits that were delivered were unexpected. I was expecting a standard trope and a quick conclusion, but I was pleasantly surprised by the interwoven side tale. It made the characters' behaviors and reactions plausible, and it kept you cheering for them throughout the book.
However, the cover is just passable. I wish it had a more office-like feel instead of a club vibe, but other than that, I liked it!!!
I will certainly read more of this author's work. The details are excellent, and the attention to detail draws you in, causing you to read the book in one sitting.
