I am not a fan of romance novels and contemporary to begin with (more of a sci-fi/fantasy gal myself) so this was not my cup of tea, but there are some reads I cannot help but enjoy and love.
I found that it was not a captivating read, yes it was very steamy but besides that the plot was lackluster. The characters were pretty one-faced, no hidden depths or relatively surprising traits that I could find. There was also hardly any character development, which (In my opinion) is usually what books are about, character development good or bad.
