This book was so cute! I might even go so far as to say that for a contemporary book that book was pretty much perfect. I loved seeing Evie grow on her adventures through New York to find her grandmother and coming to find what really matters in life. She was a complex character, who ultimately was so grounded, yet funny, and distant and just multi-dimensional. I love, love, love to see that in books!
I loved Evie's relationship with her grandma. In fact, I loved a lot of the relationships that were formed or showcased in this book. Evie's relationship with her grandma (the best!), her agent, her burgeoning one with Milo and his band. Those relationships really helped ground Evie and lead her to find herself ultimately.
Also, I just have to point out that I found the relationship of the Media and fame to be (at least from my perspective) really realistic to what it looks like currently. I thought that was a really nice tough and gave the whole story from the get go immediate credibility.
Overall, this book was a 10/10 for me, I would read it again and again it was just that good. I really hope we get to see more from Kristina Forest set in this world.
