I’m usually don’t read books with musicians in romance books but this one was so cuteee, the main character’s grandmother was a actress and she followed in her footsteps until her best friend went behind her back and decided she wanted the spotlight. She doesn’t like the boy who went to live with her grandmother. She thought he was suspicious but he was super nice and sweet, even though she was being mean to him. Evie was a little annoying at times where she was little self centered. The author explored and showed in the book illustrating the importance of self worth vs. validation and it was so important to show readers that. Evie learned that a lot when she was living with grandma. It was quite hard to connect with evie because she was being to other characters like her grandmother. The author intentions was to show her character development to the beginning to end
