I absolutely love the format of this book, let's just start there.

It's clever to format the first paragraph of the book as an online article, quite relatable to today's readers. The book immediately dives into who Evie's grandmother is, who could be mistaken for the protagonist of the story unless you read the synopsis. To be honest, the story would have been quite interesting if it had included the grandmother's point of view as well but that's were the mystery lies which I'm sure the author had considered.

The concept is quite original and unique, though not quite relatable to a deeper level as I'm sure today's readers are not quite rising actresses. The scenario is quite fictional and while it may not be relatable, Evie's character and how she reacts to the situation definitely captivates the readers and draws sympathy.
