I really wanted to LOVE this one but unfortunately it was just okay. Not bad, but also didn't excite me or feel particularly touching. I felt there were many parts that were slow and really dampened the momentum build up around them. My saving grace was Gigi, I wish the story had been about her life from her point of view, maybe just because she gave me Evelyn Hugo vibes.

I enjoyed the chemistry between Evie and Milo because it felt authentic and age-appropriate considering they are teenagers. Although Evie was not the most like-able character, she could be very self-centered and entitled, I loved Milo's character so much that I felt he was a good foil to offset Evie's personality.
