This heartwarming story filled me with joy. I loved these characters and how real they felt. I laughed, cried, and just couldn't put this novel down. The multigenerational relationship and support Evie received from her grandmother made me want to hug them both.
Milo is a new book boyfriend for me--he is not only swoony, but smart, loyal, talented, selfless, and willing to help the people he cares about even when it sacrifices his own dreams. He and his band friends definitely broke all the musician stereotypes.
Evie's agent Kerry surprised me as she was definitely not the stereotypical agent character I've come across before. Her support of Evie and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty placed her in my high regards.
And the ending was so perfect! I haven't found an ending so spot on for a novel in a long time and I cried happy tears. I will be seeking this author's first book and every book she writes in the future.
