I read Now That I've Found You in a day. It has that undeniable combination of flawed but endearing characters, an intriguing mystery in the background, and characters who are on their own journeys. I loved that both Evie and Milo felt so utterly relatable in the ways you can get caught up in something and how driven they both are. We can let our goals stop us from seeing the people around us. And, in a nutshell, that is the essence of Now That I've Found You. This conflict between desire and ambition, friendship and forgiveness, that is reflected in so many characters in the book.

Now That I’ve Found You balances this sense of character exploration with an intriguing, and time sensitive, mystery. What Forest does fantastically is to use the mystery and intrigue to speak volumes about the characters. What ends up happening is a story full of characters that you love as they travel around the city finding pieces of themselves. The relationships in our life can betray us, hurt us deeply, and make us wary of trusting again. Now That I’ve Found You asks us what we will do to accomplish our dreams, what compromises we will make, and who we will sacrifice – even if that’s ourselves.
