I enjoyed this book a lot. I am grateful for bookishfirst for sending it my way. Sometimes all you want to read is a story that is cute and cheesy and just overall good for the soul and Forest’s Now That I’ve Found You was exactly that.
Evie starts off this story embarrassed by a mistake she made and the struggling to find another movie that wants to hire her now. She goes back to her grandma’s to visit that’s actually a ploy to get her grandma to agree to something she know she won’t want to because Evie thinks it’s the only way she can get a role.
The arc this character goes through during this journey was inspiring and a great reminder to myself. Gigi (grandma) disappears after Evie shows up trying to convince her to attend the party and now Evie is worried and scared and must enlist the help of Milo, the young musician staying with Gigi, to find Gigi in time of the big event to save her career. Evie mistrust Milo and is sure he is using Gigi for her connections.
A great story and entertaining read; this is a book I recommend for sure.
