The book "Now That I've Found You" follows Evie, an up and coming actress with a famous grandmother. Early on, Evie is betrayed by her so-called "best friend" and her movie star status quickly becomes obsolete. But Evie, along with her faithful agent Kerri, has plan to put her career (and life) back together....she just has to get it sorted with her uber-famous actress Granmother Aka Gigi. The First Impression ends with Evie travelling to visit Gigi in New York City.
I was pleasantly surprised when I read the First Impression of this book. It hooked me in from the beginning and I absorbed every word and finished at record speed! I'm not normally a fan of these types of books however this one got me because it's so relatable to this day and age.
I'm assuming Evie meets a guy (based on the title and cover) and that somehow miraculously fixes her entire life and I really hope that's not the case. Evie is an independent young woman with a career and life ahead of her and I want to see where that goes without a man coming into play. For that, I'm knocking off a star. However, I definitely want to keep reading and see where the book takes me.
