Oof - I feel for Evie and appreciate her plight
This story is so relevant - and I can tell that just from the sample! How many times have we all gotten stuck in a predicament when something personal is taken out of context? And in Evie's case, blasted all over the internet? I know I've experienced it--especially in the internet climate we live in. I was instantly drawn to this story and can't wait to see how this predicament plays out for Evie going forward.
Also, this cover is charming. I like that the girl is the one facing forward, staring us down, with the boy seemingly lovesick over her. It's a refreshing change, I think. I can't wait to see people starting to rave about this book!
Thanks for the opportunity to read a sample!
