Kristina Forest's novel gives the reader a fluffy, quick read that could be appealing to those who are interested in celebrity life. While it may be the right book for some, the first few chapters lacked tension and I was not particularly interested in the main character, Evie, or the people in her orbit.

I struggle with determining who the audience is for this book. It seems like it's angling for YA readers but the premise does not seem geared toward that age group, or their collective experiences. In the other direction, the writing seems a little too young to appeal to adults who might read YA.

Although Evie is caught up in the celebrity world, I feel like this book would be made stronger without the inclusion of the gossip articles. They worked as delivery method for backstory but I would have preferred that information be revealed through the course of the novel and Evie's interactions.
