This was a great read. It took some time for me to digest and move along, but it was so good.
Some retellings fall flat but this was impressive, fresh, and well done. The historical aspect felt lively and interesting. I also really love that the story is told by multiple narrators. I think it makes it more captivating that way. Some characters were familiar and others were new to the traditional story but it all blended well. The setting and descriptions were vivid without being overbearing or boring. This book does not disappoint. I wish I would've read it sooner!
The story of Robin Hood is one I've liked since childhood. It was nice to revisit the story as an adult. Plus, knowing more about history and politics, I felt like I better understood the story and appreciated it in a different way.
