I absolutely adore Robin Hood. I remember picking up this giant old book of Robin Hood stories from my library as a kid. It weighed like half as much as I did and I absolutely devoured it. Whenever I see a book or movie about or inspired by Robin Hood I get SO EXCITED, so obviously, I was ecstatic when I won an ARC of this book. It was very different than I was expecting, but I did very much enjoy it. I think part of the reason that I liked it so much was BECAUSE it was so different. I loved all the different takes on the characters and the different viewpoints we were able to see. It's a long book, so it did take me a while, but it didn't drag or bore me. I also liked the more historical aspects.
