I'm so disappointed because I had such high hopes for this book. When I read the first few pages, I was really drawn into the perspective of the character portrayed. Unfortunately, this book tells the story from the perspective of several characters, and is constantly bringing additional characters in. The words are printed in small type, and I'm not sure if that is adding to the feeling of the book being cluttered. I am just really struggling to track what is going on at any given time. I have tried reading a section at a time and then coming back to the book to lay fresh eyes on it, but at this point I'm just resisting picking the book up.

I think part of the book's problem is that the author wanted to show the good and bad sides of each character, so there isn't anyone that I can side with and continue to root for and want to see succeed as the story goes on. I am left with a bunch of people that I just don't care about. And again, I am really struggling to figure out what is happening or being planned at any given time.
