I love that within a couple of paragraphs, this book already has an attitude! I was thinking the same thing... "This stupid arrogant pillar, begging to be murdered." Set during the Crusade, from the perspective of an assassin sent to kill the king and end the war. The writing is lovely and engrossing and I can't wait to read it.
