Within the first paragraph of reading the prologue of Nottingham by Nathan Makaryk I knew I would be eager to get my hands on the full book. Makaryk has such a way with words that I as a reader felt as though I had been the one looking upon the King atop his horse in the Holy Land. Throughout these first twenty pages, I appreciated that each character had their own personality and voice. From this, I am particularly interested in learning more about the character of Marion Fitzwalter.
This opening sets the stage for an incredible adventure that will hopefully keep the reader on the edge of their seat throughout. The cover is appealing and I can't wait to get to read more!
