This was seriously such a fun story! But don’t take it as all fun and games because there was the perfect blend of seriousness too! Gabe was an intense man but I loved him, whether it was his serious side or when he let the swoon and sweetness come out! Drusilla thought herself rather plain and let that rule over her, so much so that she was afraid of letting Gabe see how much she truly loved him. I can completely understand her actions, especially when Gabe has had a line of women and Drusilla has had no one. The swoon was also completely on point and had the perfect build up to it. I also loved the twists and turns throughout the book and the addictive writing. Spencer is also wonderful at writing dialogue and the emotion that goes with it. The cover is also so beautiful and what drew me in! And I can’t wait to read the sequel and see what happens with Eva!
