I don't typically read regency romance, but I like the three main characters introduced in the excerpt. Dru and Eva clearly have a solid and dependable friendship and recognize both when to embrace each other's eccentricities and when to reel them in. I also appreciate the dynamic between Eva and her stepbrother Gabriel.
