Honestly, after reading the summary and the little excerpt, I saw this as a mash up of two classical books: Pride and Prejudice and Little Woman. The book has a wonderful premise that I as a woman am interested it but the concept of love appears interesting as well. The love subplot seems appealing as this woman appears to put herself forward (which is a good thing) before others. However; when she falls in love she has to battle with the love for herself and the love for the other partner. I also am in love with the cover, even though I am not a huge fan of pink. The silhouette of the main character is one of the most appealing things about the cover, as you are left guessing to who this woman is.
