David is a book seller and knows that he has lived longer than anyone else and in most cases longer than his books .Although his prized possessions may be older.
He thinks that he's alone when a news story catches his eye. A daredevil has tried to jump the Grand Canyon. In doing so he plunges into the canyon. When rescuers find him they are expecting a grizzly scene, instead he pops out of a crevice.
This has rocked David's world and he thinks he knows why the daredevil is alive but he has to find out for himself. So he heads for the Grand Canyon.
