My first impression is that I want to read more! David is complex and interesting. The plot is slowly threaded out to us, keeping the pages turning. Tiana seems to be the one trusted (sort of!) person in David's life and I like her, too. I love that he owns a bookstore; always a comforting venue, full of possibilities, right?!
Now that Zachary has entered the plot, who knows where it goes? Great potential here and I look forward to more from this author.
