The story had some deep undertones to the story that really propel it forward. There is an air of mystery that makes you want to explore the story world. It has such old-timey vibes that I really could imagine the scene that way, but it had enough magic woven into it that it still felt completely different. I liked the general feel of the story, but it didn't quite appeal to me. It just isn't my type of thing, but a lot of people would probably enjoy it.
