I immediately felt captivated by the mysterious atmosphere of Nightbirds. As the three titular Nightbirds are introduced, I felt intrigued by the secrets they hold and the danger they're in because of their magic. So far I'm most curious about Matilde, and what will happen now that two people know her secret. The cover captures the atmosphere of this book so well!
