So I want to start off by saying I really love these two authors. All of their adult fiction is great. However they aren’t my favorite when it comes to Young Adult. I feel like the characters are always unlikeable and they seem very superficial. This book was better than some of their other Young Adults books but not by much. It’s a good summer read but it is one I most likely will not be reaching for again. It does remind me of Emily Henry who I am a big fan of and of their book The Roughest Draft. So if you like those I would recommend giving this one a chance. It just wasn’t one of my favorites. I found myself stopping and getting bored multiple times and had to stop reading and take a break. The cover artwork I will say is absolutely incredible. It’s very fun and very colorful. I feel like a bit more editing could help this book. I feel like some parts dragged on way too long.
