This YA is literally awesome. Actually I wasn't really sure about it but then I figured I might as well try because of the book cover and the title.
And I find that "Never vacation with your ex" is a captivating and relaxing YA novel. The author did an amazing job with the weaving of story, though in Pov's, it has no ridiculous sluggishness about it. It tells the story of a seventeen years old Kaylee , a volleyball lover and player, and her relationships with the people and environment around her.
Kaylee showcases the nuances, confusion and uncertainty you get as a teenager as she journeys through life being the daughter of medalist volleyball player mother
and trying to convince herself that people actually see her for her, with a perfectly curated social media page having half a million followers watching and waiting to see her never failing because she has a three time gold medalist for a mother.
