I love a young adult read especially when it features one of my favorite tropes (second-chance romance). I think Kaylee is struggling to find her identity with the pressure to live up to her mom's legacy. She is a star volleyball player and everyone wants her to be an Olympian just like her mom but that also makes it hard for her to discover herself. She is looking forward to her family vacation because she deserves to relax even if it may only be for a week. But there is a bit of a hiccup. Her best friend and now ex-boyfriend Dean and his family are supposed to be joining Kaylee and her family for the vacation. They will have to navigate this awkward territory. I want to what comes next for these two.
