Intriguing start! I like the writing and dialogue between the characters, and it's introduced an interesting conflict regarding the romance. Not only are the main characters childhood friends, but Kaylee describes breaking up with Dean because she felt anxious and "suffocated." She's not particularly likeable so far, dating a friend who liked her forever and then dumping him, and then also getting a new boyfriend, but I like messy characters. They make stories more interesting for me. Also Dean being casually bi means so much to me. I feel like this is going to be great! Cute cover too! I especially love the summery colors.
