I wasn’t really sure what to expect when reading this book. I knew very little on what I was about to read. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to read it with such ease and contentment. I enjoyed walking through the ups and downs of Mike Hayes and how he overcame the obstacles he traveled through. I come from a military family and I also married into the military. Some of his words hit home and spread this sense of proudness over me. His words are encouraging. His stories, inspiring. I often wondered and can only imagine some of the things my family and husband have encountered as servicemen. Mike Hayes only gives a glimpse about such things when he speaks of them in his book. I would truly recommend this book to everyone. Mike Hayes tells everyone to never give up on yourself. Improve where you can improve. There will be hard days and good days but you can do it. This is at least what I got from this book. Well done!
