Never After: the Thirteenth Fairy by Melissa De La Cruz - Thank you bookish for my gifted copy! I love all things fairytale and magic. This book brought me both. I loved the writing for this story. I was captivated right away and read it in one day! I loved the descriptions, the well developed characters. It was fun to read a story about fairytale characters that stand out very well on their own, but to get thrown a twist in this story.
The characters were easy to like, and the story was at a great pace that kept moving. YA is not usually my genre that I tend to lean towards but I was excited to receive this one. This is great for a middle school read, anything younger and I think a parent would have to read it to the child- just for clarity and basic understanding.
I am looking forward to reading more books by this author- this one has a home on my shelf now!
