Was an easy read! My first by this author. I think reading about the fairy tales we grew up hearing, in a different way is cool.

You meet Jack, Gretel, and Ali Baba. All the while I’m reading I’m picturing myself watching the Disney movies.
I love how authors have their own take on the fairy tales we grew up with. You saw a handful in this book.
The banter between Jack and Filomena was funny and down right hilarious. Then you have the whole adventure where you are looking for the magic lamp. Yes that one. As the story goes on you find out that the 13th fairy actually saved Never After and that Filomena was there to finish the rest of the story. Also the books that Filomena read were actually tales from Never After and it was all real!
If you have middle school ages children they might like this.
