Don’t want to stop reading…
I’ve been reading more MG these days as my oldest is now a middle schooler. We both share a love of books, so it’s been fun recommending books to each other. While I love fantasy she’s been a hard sell.
But NEVER AFTER seems like the kind of book that could snag her interest and I’m excited to see if it does.
Right from the start, I wanted to jump into this world and collect answers to all my questions.
Why is the Thirteenth Fairy not welcome? Why did the kingdom wait so long for a princess? Why was the 12th fairy dead and replaced by the king so quickly? And what happened to the new baby princess?
Then suddenly we were in California with a 6th-grade Filomena. She’s walking alone when she’s not allowed to…ever. And her favorite book series is coming to an end but there’s a small, big, no HUGE issue. And then there is someone following her. Yikes!
My only concern is that my daughter and I don’t normally read 3rd POV, so I hope we can keep focused and enjoy reading the rest of the book!
