As always Melissa De La Cruz does not disappoint, the formatting of this book is one that I love, the back and forth, seeing different times and different points of view makes it more than a story, it gives it life, at least in my opinion.

Now as for the story itself, I was drawn into a world of magic and dreams mixed with a current reality that I wasn't expecting. So many fairy tales start with a princess or a prince but this one went in a new direction, something I hadn't really read before but had the comfort of a familiar friend.

The idea that Princess Eliana could end up in a world without magic when her beginning was so magical was something that gave me pause, Was I reading too much into it or was this going to be as spectacular as I though.

I was only able to read the first couple of chapters but I'll be buying this one to see how it goes, I'm really looking forward to seeing how this story takes shape in the end.
