Okay so let me start by saying that some of the representation in this book is good. So first off the body positivity in this book is mixed because one- girls going through puberty who feel like they suddenly have massive protrusions from their chest are going to relate to how Greer feels in this book and more books should address this awkward and quite frankly uncomfortable period of a female's life. It can be horrible to wake up one morning and not recognize your body, not to mention dealing with all the attention that your new assets gain.

However, what is really problematic is how Greer's breast size is treated as not normal and she never learns that her own body is normal. She's not a freak because of the size of her breasts and bodies come in all shapes and sizes. The fact that this message isn't given and instead we are told that Greer is just more than boobs and that's it- is extremely problematic. That is where the book falls apart for me.
