Oh. My. Gosh! This book is somehow both raw and totally adorable. Greer might be my new favorite teen lead. She felt completely relatable- partly because I can understand her experience- but also because she was so well written. I enjoyed watching her slowly come out of her shell, while not giving up who she was, but rather finding out how to use who she was as an advantage.

The interactions between Greer and Jackson had me blushing due to the adorable awkwardness. Jackson was very sweet but still felt like a full character in his own right, which was a lovely change of pace from some of the YA Romances out there.

One other awesome part of the book was author Laura Zimmerman's ability to weave references and broken Spanish and German and Dutch as though I was actually reading the weird thoughts we all have, but most people don't write down. The story flowed so well that I read the whole book in one sitting! I hope she writes more books, because I cannot wait to read them!
