I heard about this book on the From the Front Porch podcast, and I have been so excited to read this story. I love the title and cover so much! It's quirky and sassy, and I'm in! I love a coming-of-age story, especially one featuring a strong female character. I love the elements of a supportive community coming around this young woman, as she is figuring out how to love her body, and feel comfortable in her own skin.
I can't wait to read this one, and find out more about the character and what happens. I remember how challenging high school days can be for so many, and I love to relive that in the literature I read without having to actually go back in time and be 15 again! I also have a young niece, with whom I share books, and think she would like this empowering story.
