Greer likes Math, Volleyball and Jackson Oates. What she doesn’t like are her large breasts, so she is trying to hide them under a huge sweatshirt that, as her mom says, makes her look big. When Greer falls in love with Jackson and tries out for the volleyball team, her issues with her chest reach a new level.

The book was different from what I usually read but I really liked it. Greer is a very relatable character that overthinks and overdoes as most girls that age do. However, Greer does not give up. The story was written with a good sense of humor but it is also heartbreaking at times when Greer feels lonely and lost without a soul that understands her. I was surprised about Greer’s mom who seems like she does not ‘see’ Greer and is not helpful at all. It brought tears to my eyes to read about Greer begging for the Stabilizer. But there are also a lot of empowering moments, especially between Greer and Jessa as well as Greer and Maggie.

This book is about growing up, friendships, family relationships and a first love. I would definitely give it to a teenage girl to read.
