This is the kind of book you can tell you’ll like from the first couple of pages. The author’s voice for the MC is excellent. You can immediately feel her personality oozing out of the pages. It’s clear that she has certain opinions, and even a sense of humor, just by the way she thinks about things, the way she verbalized, and her views on the world.
I love a protagonist with a strong voice. From the get-go we immediately sympathize with the MC because of the struggle she’s been faced with: a chest that’s larger than her head. Even the way she describes it makes you chuckle, yet, feel sorry for her at the same time.
Within the first few pages, we are introduced to the boy who is certain to be the MC’s love interest. This means that the reader’s attention will remain rooted in the story because it’s obvious the direction it’s going to go.
I can’t wait to read the full book!
