In this book we follow a detective named Jane Tennison and the story is set in England in the 1970's. She has to work harder then everyone else because she is 1. a female and 2. a decteive that not everyone likes to take serious. She has to show that she can do the job and solve the henious murders of three women within a mile of each other. She knows she has a tough road ahead of her but she does not let that stop her and she continues to push the boundaries and rules to see that justice is done. She admits when she is wrong, and she continues to fight for those who do not have anyone else to fight for them. I will be looking for more of Lynda's books and this series so I can see what happens next for Jane.
