Loved this book--it's my second read of a book with the Jane Tennison character. The entire story takes place over just a few days--I could not put it down. Lots of murders and tying them together takes a lot of courage and ingenuity on her part. It shows how hard it was to be a pioneer in a man's field--she is certainly learning to hold her own with all those men in the department. I like the recurring characters also even thought you would like to slap a couple of them for how they treat her and the things they say. There is a surprise twist at the end which I thought was great--and a hint about what's coming next for her.
