This book,Murder Mile,By Lynda La Plante,is a great whodunit.I, being a lady and an ex woman police officer, found it most interesting in the dynamics with mostly male officers.And in the same time period I may add, although the setting is in Britain.But murder is murder and all the unraveling to get to how these victim's are connected is quite a ride.Jane Tennison is our hero and she really stands up for herself ,thank goodness,or she will not last long in this profession but she seems to be moving up in the ranks .I finished reading this book last night and I am still not sure if "they got their man ' or not .I just have this same gut feeling as Jane did at times that things don't quite add up.I liked the book.
