A stirring Jane Tennison tale.
I may have to read all of the Jane Tennison stories. I'm currently also reading the "Hell Divers" space-western books, and I think I'm getting to like hard-charging, gritty tales of people with integrity and determination.
It flows along with excellent dialogue and exchanges between the characters, and seems psychologically truthful--they're people with human insight.
I'm not crazy about stories involving wicked crimes committed by crazies, but I guess not every tale can take place in a manor house where one relative offs another with a tasty cup of tea and a piece of cake.
There are some forensics-types details, and I appreciated that, since I recently watched all of the series "Bones" and am now a world-expert on such matters.
