Murder Mile is a classic detective story, in which some mysterious murders occur, and the story unfolds as Jane Tennison and other detectives the late 70s in London try to discover who are the victims and who killed them. If you like detective stories, you will love this book. Lynda La Plante is practically the inventor of the murder thriller, and has a writing style that gets you hooked from beginning to the end. I also appreciate the fact that they included a glossary at the beginning, explaining some of the words and letters used to describe police investigations in England. And for me, the ending was totally unexpected. I love when books can surprise us! Overall, this is a nice and entertaining read.
