I'm very intrigued by this first look so far! I love that this is set during the 1970's in England. This is a setting I haven't seen very often in other novels, so I feel like it adds originality to the novel. I also like the idea of a female detective protagonist. So far she really seems to have a good head on her shoulders and is even able to think things through more clearly than some of her male counterparts. I can't wait to read more!
