I was very glad to see that Lynda la Plante had gone back to Jane Tennison’s early years. After reading the first book I was hooked on the new series and it only gets better with each book. The book cover is dark and sets a somber mood. When reading the opening pages you can see how far Jane has come from the opening book. I look forward to seeing how she handles her new position.
